That thing called school...

School, everyone knows it and I am pretty sure most people shudder at the thought of back to school time. Well unless your my organised and odd sister, who has got everything out and ready for tomorrows endeavour to school. Near the end of every summer break you go through the same ritual.

  1. Get new school bag
  2. Buy lots of pens and pencils (even though the ones from last year are fine, you have to make the point)
  3. If you are unlucky enough to have uniform (like me) then buy new uniform and school shoes.
  4. Complete any homework or essay's you may have purposely left to the last few days
  5. And anything else that is going to distract you from the actual reality of back to school.
After completing this list you then think up scenarios of your first day back. You think to yourself this year is going to be different. I am not going to fall over at every possible moment there is and completely embarrass yourself in front of your crush and scrape by in most of your exams. No! This year is going to be different.

You are going to strut in pulling off the lousy, uncomfortable and itchy uniform, be friends with everybody, somehow complete all homework the night you get it and  ace every single test they throw your way.
But if you are anything like me I think that the first scenario is a lot more realistic. I mean why would this year be any different to the others. I could say that I am a year older now, so I am more mature and I have grown out of my clumsiness. However I think that is highly unlikely.

So I will let you know how tomorrow goes, If I know my self then something embarrassing is going to happen making for a great blog post. So we will see. What is it going to be fresh new and amazing year or the same as all the previous ones?

What was your first day back at school like? Did your ace it? or was it just another yearly disappointment?
Let me know in the comments below, I would love to hear you stories, they may make mine more bearable.

Thanks for reading :)
